AZT Inhibits XMRV
Early days yet but work has already begun to see what currently available HIV medications have an effect in the treatment of the XMRV Retrovirus. Vincent Racaniello, a mainstream Virologist, has recently posted on his blog about his findings. Of all the antivirals he tested only AZT significantly inhibited viral replication.
