Canadian Blood Service bans CFS/ME donors
It seems Health bodies around the world are beginning to take note of XMRV and XAND! The Canadian Blood Service is the first to announce that it will be banning donors who have been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The ban will take effect nationwide over the next couple of weeks. At this point it is just a cautionary move as no link has yet been confirmed between XMRV and CFS/ME. It will be interesting to see if any other Countries take the same decision.
