German Study Links CFS and XMRV
A new German study has come up with some interesting results. The study tested the respiratory-tract secretions from healthy controls and another 3 categories of people with respiratory-tract infections.
XMRV was found in the following quantities:
- 3.2% of controls
- 2.3% of those with RTIs & no underlying conditions
- 2.3% of those with RTIs & COPD
- 9.9% of those on immunosuppressive drugs
