XMRV Test Now Available: Viral Immune Pathology Diagnostics Introduces New Test for XMRV Patients and Clinicians

The Whittemore Peterson Institute is allowing VIP Dx to start offering the same XMRV diagnostic test that they have been used in their recent XNAD research to the general public. If you would like to be tested you can get in contact with VIP Dx. All Net proceeds from the test will go to the Whittemore Peterson Institute for further research.

While it would be nice for us to know if we actually have XMRV, the test is not cheap and no treatments are yet available so some of you might want to wait until further progress has been made. Once feedback starts to come through from people who do take the test we will keep you informed!

This test is only available in the US and Canada as the test results has to be returned to the Lab quickly. However, it is possible to travel to a Doctor in the US or Canada and prearrange the test. We do know one Lab in Europe who has ties with VIP Dx so we expect them to be offering the XMRV test in Europe soon.
